Terms and Conditions

1. About the service

Squared SEND Advocacy & Support provides independent SEND advice and advocacy support to parents and carers in England. Services include advice, document review, written drafting, and strategic guidance in relation to SEND matters.

Squared SEND Advocacy & Support is not a law firm and does not provide legal representation.


2. Scope of services

Services may include (but are not limited to):

  • EHCP advice and document review
  • Professional report analysis
  • Written drafting and suggested amendments
  • SENDIST appeal support (advice and preparation only)
  • Complaints and correspondence drafting
  • SEND strategy and advice

All services are advisory in nature. Families remain responsible for submitting documents, correspondence, and representing themselves unless otherwise agreed in writing.


3. No guarantee of outcome

While advice is provided with care, professionalism and reference to relevant legislation and guidance, outcomes cannot be guaranteed. Decisions remain the responsibility of local authorities, tribunals, or other decision-making bodies.


4. Booking, pricing and payment

  • Pricing and scope will be agreed before work begins
  • Fees may be fixed-price or time-based, depending on the service
  • Payment is required in advance unless otherwise agreed
  • No work will commence without agreement on scope and cost

5. Cancellation and refunds

As services are provided remotely and may involve immediate work on documents, the statutory 14-day cancellation period may not apply once work has begun.

Where work has already commenced:

  • Fees may be non-refundable
  • Any refund will be proportionate to work not yet completed

Full details will be confirmed prior to booking.

6. Client responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate and complete information
  • Reviewing all written outputs before submission
  • Making final decisions regarding use of advice provided

7. Confidentiality

All information shared is treated as confidential and handled securely in line with data protection legislation.


8. Limitation of liability

Liability is limited to the value of the service purchased, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.


9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
